摘要

The aim of this research is to design a PID Controller using particle swarmoptimization (PSO) algorithm for multiple-input multiple output (MIMO)Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. The conventional gain tuning of PID controller (suchas Ziegler-Nichols (ZN) method) usually produces a big overshoot, and thereforemodern heuristics approach such as PSO are employed to enhance the capabilityof traditional techniques. However, due to the computational efficiency, onlyPSO will be used in this paper. The results show the advantage of the PIDtuning using PSO-based optimization approach.
